LINKÖPING, Sweden; April 21, 2015 – AMRA has expanded its operations and named Chelsea Ranger as its new Chief Business Development Officer.
Ms. Ranger will operate as General Manager of AMRA’s newest office, located at the Oslo Science Park in Oslo, Norway. She will be responsible for managing and increasing AMRA’s strategic network and sales, as well as coordinating the international communication of AMRA data.
After relocating to Oslo from the USA, Ms. Ranger was the Life Science Manager at HORN International, where she developed the Life Science division of the publishing firm, assisted in the company’s expansion into Europe, and established a compelling, worldwide network of key industry bodies.
Ms. Ranger was a Hepatology / Gastroenterology Physician Assistant for The Liver Center, a Center of Excellence within the multi-centered, private practice of Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in Atlanta, Georgia (USA). Her role was direct patient care, diagnosing and treating patients with acute and chronic liver disease, pre- and post-transplant. She also provided clinical training of future PAs and was an invited Guest Lecturer of Hepatobiliary topics at Mercer University and Emory University.
“Ms. Ranger’s clinical experience from USA and her extensive network within the Life Science area in Europe will be very valuable to establish AMRA as the global standard for fat and muscle measurements,” says Tommy Johansson, CEO of AMRA.
AMRA’s patented technology embodies a New Global Standard, the first-ever measurement of visceral fat, subcutaneous fat, and liver fat via 6-10 minutes in any standard MR scanner. Such information identifies those at risk for diabetes, liver & cardiovascular disease, and muscle disorders. AMRA’s technology will redefine obesity and BMI, thus transforming global health.
