Sweden, September 18, 2018: AMRA, the international leader in body composition analysis, announced today three new significant hires, each bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to support the company’s continued growth and global expansion.
As AMRA’s first formal advancement into the Asian market, Thomas Jonsson joins as the Director of Business Development for Japan. “I strongly believe that the highly science-focused pharmaceutical and academic organizations in Japan will find AMRA digital health products very useful for their research and clinical development” stated Thomas.
AMRA has also recruited Vittorio Sportelli, PharmD RPh, as the new Regional Director of Business Development for Europe and the Middle East. Dr. Sportelli is a registered pharmacist in Italy and Switzerland, as well as a trained specialist in clinical nutrition and dietetics, with a passion for metabolic disturbances and nutritional assessment in chronic and acute disease. Vittorio brings more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare business, as well as in several new market segments within the hospital and pharmaceutical industries.
“I feel honored to join such strong and talented team of professionals at AMRA Medical and I am glad to embrace AMRA’s mission of establishing the foundation for body composition measurement and providing the knowledge needed to predict and prevent disease,” expressed Vittorio.
The third, key individual to join the Swedish headquarter as the new Business Development Manager MSK is Magnus Aurell, who holds more than 25 years of experience in business development and international sales across the medical technology, imaging, and pharmaceutical landscape. Prior to AMRA, he was the CEO of the public Swedish imaging company, EXINI Diagnostics AB, which was profitably sold to a renowned American company.
