Defining Sarcopenia with MRI – Establishing Threshold Values within a Large-Scale Population Study
Date: Sunday, Nov 27 at 11:05am – 11:15am
Venue: S406A SSA14-03
Purpose: To identify gender specific threshold values for sarcopenia detection for lean thigh muscle tissue volume quantified using MRI.
Defining a ”Healthy” Body Composition Profile using MRI: Normative Data Extracted from the UK Biobank Imaging Cohort
Date: Monday, Nov 28 at 3 :20pm – 3:30pm
Venue: E353A SSE07-03
Purpose: Understanding the relationship of fat distribution with metabolic disease can aid in risk assessment. To standardize MRI-derived body composition measurements with normative values‚ criteria for the definition of “healthy” must first be derived.
Quantitative Assessment of Lean Skeletal Muscle Hydration Using Water-Fat MRI
Date: Tuesday, Nov 29 at 12:15pm – 12:45pm
Venue: PH Community‚ Learning Center PH234-SD-TUA7
Purpose: To investigate if the hydration of lean muscle tissue can be measured using water-fat MRI.
Body Composition Profiling using MRI – Normative Data for Subjects with Cardiovascular Disease Extracted from the UK Biobank Imaging Cohort
Date: Wednesday, Nov 30 at 3:00pm – 3:10pm
Venue: S504AB SSM04-0
Purpose: To describe the distribution of MRI-derived body composition measurements in subjects with cardiovascular disease (CVD) compared to subjects without any history of CVD.
Body Composition Profiling using MRI – Normative Data for Subjects with Diabetes Extracted from the UK Biobank Imaging Cohort
Date: Thursday, Dec 01 at 10:40am – 10:50am
Venue: E350 SSQ06-02
Purpose: To describe the distribution of MRI derived body composition measurements in subjects with diabetes mellitus (DM) compared to subjects without diabetes.
AMRA Founder & Chief Technology Officer, Olof Dahlqvist Leinhard, will present four of the above acceptances, including ”Body Composition Profiling using MRI – Normative Data for Subjects with Diabetes Extracted from the UK Biobank Imaging Cohort.” The RSNA team has deemed this presentation important & newsworthy.
