LINKÖPING, Sweden, June 20, 2026 –Across our AMRA family worldwide, we’re showing our support for the FSHD community today with a simple orange-slice smile!
The orange slice smile is a symbol that reflects the recognition and support of the people living with Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD), which is a neuromuscular disease that can weaken the muscles that make it possible to smile. We also stand with their families, caregivers, and everyone dedicated to advancing research, care, and understanding of this disease on this worldwide day of recognition!
Many of us at AMRA have the privilege of working alongside those striving to make a difference in FSHD and other rare diseases. While there is still much to learn, we’re encouraged by the progress being made and grateful to play a role in supporting the research that helps move the field forward.
Today, we stand with the global FSHD community: celebrating resilience, recognizing the importance of continued research, and looking ahead with hope. Show us your Orange Slice Selfie below!
